Very Fitting.

Today I picked my mixer up from the appliance service place.

My poor mixer had been ill.

It started when she began shaking, very wobbly-like.

Then her lock gave in and stopped locking. So she would shimmy across the whole counter.

And then, on her way to the service place, her head fell off!

10 to 14 days before she would be well again, the desk lady said. And I have to admit, I felt a tinge of sadness as I left her there in the shop. Isn't that silly.

I've been gazing ever so much at the lonely spot on the counter and dreaming of her return.

And today I got to pick her up. Wobble fixed. Lock in place. Head back on. Ready for some baking.

I tilted the front passenger seat back a bit and set her down. Then I got in the car and smiled as I began to drive home. I was lost in my thoughts, daydreaming of all kinds of culinary possibilities when...
beep Beep BEEP! beep Beep BEEP! beep Beep BEEEEEEEP!!!

Oh no! I thought. Oh dear! What's wrong with the car?! Is the the check engine light on? Is it the parking break? My eyes scanned all around, searching for the problem. And then I saw the mixer and realized that it was the put-your-seatbelt-on! beep beeping.

And so, of course, I did.

That is absolutely hilarious! Moments like that are the reason I carry a camera with me everywhere I go.
