Vanilla Beans and Other Things.


I finally got to making this holiday's vanilla bean caramels. Yay! I'm so excited about it. and I can't stop eating them. But really, don't be fooled! I only appear (if that is even the case :) to have things together this Christmas.

I'm feeling a bit slow to get on top of things this year. I think I was so proud of myself for decorating our house and having a birthday party for Dashing Boy that I must have given myself a free pass to be a slacker.

Today I tried to pull it together a bit. Because, you know, Christmas Eve is a mere six days away.

I finally mailed out some Christmas cards (if you would like one e-mail me jenny@simplelifelove.com) and got to getting these caramels ready to give out.

Hopefully they'll get there by Christmas :)

Oh wow! I love the photo angles! I hope the recipients know how lucky they are!! Did you use organic sugar to make these?

They are beautiful! I'm amazed at how perfectly they are cut. Do you use organic sugar in everything now? How about raw sugar? Where does it fit in? And eggs, have we had the conversation about the spots?
